Keltec Performance

- Problem
- A specialist exhaust workshop doing great work, with a website that didn't show it or make it easy to get a quote.
- What I built
- A new site with the work front and centre, an online shop for off-the-shelf systems by vehicle, and a quote form that asks the right questions up front.
- Result
- Enquiries arrive with the car, the job and the budget already filled in, so fewer back-and-forth calls before a price.

Yorkshire Print
Print & embroidery, Leeds
- Problem
- Custom print orders mean artwork, sizes, quantities and quotes flying back and forth by email before anything gets made.
- What I built
- A shop where customers pick a product, upload their artwork and see bulk pricing straight away, plus a quote tool for bigger jobs.
- Result
- Orders arrive with the artwork and details already sorted, so they go straight to proofing instead of an email chain.
Automation & AI workflows
Howlin’ Lemon
Howlin’ Lemon, Leeds
- Problem
- Every personalised order needs its own print file. Making them by hand each morning meant fiddling with text sizes, laying out sheets and filing everything before printing could start.
- What I built
- AI “employees” that do the morning’s prep. At 6am on weekdays they pull the day’s orders from Shopify, make each print file, lay them onto press sheets and file them in a dated Google Drive folder.
- Result
- Print files are ready before the workshop opens. A clean run says nothing; if something needs a person, a message lands in Slack saying what and why.

- Problem
- An off-the-shelf shop theme looked like every other store, and couldn’t handle personalised products like custom socks and mugs.
- What I built
- A custom-built shop with its own look, running on Shopify behind the scenes for products, orders and customer accounts. Personalised items are ordered straight from the product page.
- Result
- A shop that looks like nobody else’s, without giving up Shopify’s checkout and admin. Personalised orders flow straight into the automated print-file workflow.

I’m John. I run a business too.
I’m based in Leeds and I’ve been self-employed since I was 18. I still run my own print and embroidery business, and I build software alongside it.
Most of what I build started as a fix for my own problems: orders, job sheets, admin that ate the morning. So I build tools the way an owner wants them. Simple to use, no fluff, and they have to earn their keep.
I take on a small number of projects at a time, so each one gets done properly.
